About
... and it’s also what my loved ones call me. I was born into a musical family. In our home, a radio was always playing all kinds of music, and everyone in the family - from my mom and dad to my three siblings - sang. So, it came as no surprise to anyone that even as a little girl, I, Andra, the youngest of the family, wanted to be on stage, performing the songs I heard around the house, sung by my family or by the famous artists on the radio or cassette player.
I think I’ve always known that singing was my path and my passion. My parents noticed my musical talent early on and encouraged me to chase my dream. My family has been by my side every step of my career, and that made all the difference. I launched my music career at 14, so at an age when my friends were playing outside, going to parties or camps, and hanging out, I was rehearsing or performing at shows. Some might say I sacrificed beautiful moments of my childhood, but I feel differently. The hard work back then made me the Andra I am today.
Family
... so I’ve always felt like the baby of the family. Just like in my childhood, we’ve remained a close-knit family, and there is no greater joy for me than when, on various occasions, we all manage to gather under our parents' roof. Mom, Dad, Diana, Aura, and Sandel, I love you all so much.You are my greatest blessings!
Another blessing is my husband and my children. I fell in love with Măruță in 2006, we got married two years later, and God blessed us with David-Alexandru si pe Eva Maria Ioana. My children, alongside Cătălin, remind me every single moment that love changes everything! Because of them, I am living the most beautiful reality, in the best of all possible worlds!
TV Career
Those who know me well know that I love challenges and I don't shy away from them; on the contrary, I often seek them out myself, driven by the desire to test my limits, raise the bar higher and higher, and evolve.
The first show I hosted was 'O-la-la' (ProTV), a televised karaoke game show. The show ran for two seasons and enjoyed great ratings.
In 2011, I received 'THE BIG CHALLENGE': Romania's Got Talent. Since then, I have been honored to be a judge on the TV show with the highest ratings ever recorded in Romania. In 2016, I took on the role of judge once again, this time in a project very close to my heart, The Voice Kids, where I hope to help as many children as possible fulfill their dreams.

Commercials are not milestones or career goals in themselves, but for an artist, they can be quite useful tools for measuring where they stand in the public's preferences. Furthermore, they often help me look at myself objectively and understand the image I project outward, beyond the music.
I don't accept just any proposal, and I try to promote only those products and companies that I have tested myself, that offer added quality and value, and that I truly believe in.
Thus, since 2010, I have been the face of Garnier Color Naturals si Essentials for Romania and Eastern Europe.
This was followed by brand ambassadorships with Lidl, Kultho, Vodafone, with Banca Transilvania, with Unilever – Delikat and ever since I became a mother and discovered the importance of high-quality diapers, withHuggies..
Discography
... and I consider every single one of them a miracle in my life. Each was born at a specific moment, capturing my personal and artistic experiences from that time. They all represent me in equal measure, and I believe that, put together, they have shaped me and continue to shape me as an artist.
The album that fills my soul the most is “De la frate la sora” - the best-selling album of its genre in Romania. I sang alongside my brother, Săndel, and thanks to its record-breaking sales, we were awarded both Platinum and Diamond Disc certifications..
Another achievement I am incredibly proud of is that shortly after their release, all of my singles entered the majority of Romania's 'Top 10' charts.
Charity
There are also moments of retrospection, when you question the direction you should take. Moments when you have doubts, when tragic events around you affect you deeply, and when moments of insecurity creep in. It is then that these awards help you find your balance and reflect. They build your self-confidence and serve as milestones showing the path you have traveled - reference points that help you stay on course.
Without false modesty, I must tell you that sometimes, when I look at the list of awards I’ve won so far, I can hardly believe it’s so long. At the same time, it brings me immense joy, because all the titles and trophies awarded to me prove that my voice is appreciated; they make me realize that everything I do truly matters, and they fuel my ambition to grow as an artist.

Tot online tin legatura cel mai usor si cu cei care ma asculta. Pe Facebook am peste 3,3 milioane de prieteni virtuali si multi dintre cei care iubesc muzica mea au fondat comunitati online; una dintre aceste comunitati are peste un milion de like-uri.
Toate acestea ma fac sa realizez cu bucurie ca muzica mea ajunge la sufletul publicului. Va marturisesc si un mic secret, aceste cifre ma coplesesc, ma flateaza, dar, in aceeasi masura, ma si responsabilizeaza. Imi dau seama ca fiecare pas in cariera trebuie sa fie unul bine cantarit, caci m-ar durea sa aflu ca am dezamagit fie chiar si unul dintre aceste milioane de oameni care imi asculta muzica si imi urmaresc evolutia.
Campanii umanitare
Cred ca celebritatea vine la pachet cu o responsabilitate sociala, asa ca raspund DA de fiecare data cand mi se cere sa fac parte dintr-o campanie umanitara. Ma bucur sa pot face un bine, oricat de mic. Nu mi-e usor sa vorbesc despre asta, n-as vrea sa sune ca o lauda. O fac insa pentru ca eu cred in puterea exemplului.
Si pe mine ma inspira o multime de oameni frumosi si gesturi dezinteresate facute din inima si simt ca impreuna putem face minuni pentru cei mai putin norocosi. Fie ca sunt batrani neajutorati, fie ca sunt copii nevinovati loviti de soarta, fie oameni care au nevoie de o a doua sansa, daca reusesc, prin implicarea mea, sa mai conving o singura persoana sa ajute inseamna ca demersul nu a fost in zadar.
Pas cu pas, gest cu gest, om cu om, lucrurile se pot schimba in bine si impreuna putem face o lume mai buna pentru toti.
